Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 g) plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups fruit (berries, banana, peaches, apple)
  • 3/4 cup (75 g) granola or rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

How to cook yogurt and fruit parfait step by step

  1. Chop any large fruit into bite-size pieces and toss it with the cinnamon.
  2. Spoon a third of the yogurt into each glass or bowl.
  3. Add a layer of fruit, then granola, and repeat until everything is used.
  4. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top and eat right away, or chill up to 4 hours.

Chef's tips

  • Add the granola just before eating if you want it crunchy.
  • Overripe fruit is perfect here — mash it slightly into a quick compote first.
